you've got questions,
we've got answers.
Do I have to bring my own mat and towel?
Nope! Mats and towels are included, so you can skip the subway schlepp and show up ready to sweat.
Whats your cancellation policy?
Life happens, we get it- but if you cancel less than 12 hours before class, there’s a $20 late cancel fee. If you totally skip it, it’s a $30 no-show fee. Basically, cancel early so someone else can grab your spot and you can avoid the charge. The charges only happen when you have an unlimited membership. For the credit memberships (4 or 8 classes per month) and all class packs, you lose the credit if cancelled 12 hours or less before class time.
What if I'm running late?
5 minutes early is on time. 4 minutes is late. If you’re not in the studio and checked in 5 minutes before class, your spot may go to the waitlist and it’ll count as a no-show ($30 fee). No late entry once class begins, so plan to arrive a little early and settle in. We do this so class can start smoothly (and so no one is tripping over mats mid-flow).
How does the waitlist work?
Spots on our waitlist move FAST. You’ll be auto-added up to 2 hours before class if a spot opens, so keep an eye on your app and email. At 5 minutes before class, we start admitting waitlist members who are in the studio—so if you reserved a spot, arrive early to secure it! Can’t make it? Be sure to remove yourself, because once you’re in, our 12-hour late cancel/no-show policy still applies.
How hot are the rooms?
We crank it up to 105° with infrared heat- enough to loosen muscles, raise your heart rate, and get that signature sweat glow.
What amenities does the studio have?
Mats and towels? Included. Showers? Yep. Luxe beauty bar stocked with products and a Dyson Hairdryer? Absolutely. We’ve got everything you need to sweat and refresh.
Are there membership options or class packages?
Totally! We’ve got flexible packages to fit any schedule or lifestyle, so you can come as often as you like without breaking the bank.
Can anyone join the classes, regardless of experience?
Yes! Classes are designed for all levels. Beginners can always modify, and advanced students can push further with positions, props, and variations. Everyone gets a sweat that works for them.
Whats the difference between all of the classes?
There’s no single “hardest” class- they each challenge you differently. Hot Sculpt is faster-paced with weights, Hot Pilates is a bit slower but burns deep with muscle connection, and Hot Flow turns up the heat on mobility and conditioning.
Bottom line? Each class challenges you differently, so the best one is the one that keeps you coming back for more.
Do you offer small groups or private classes?
Absolutely! Email us at info@practiceroomnyc.com for more info. Be sure to include details such as date, time and group size.
If I buy a membership, when does the billing cycle start?
When you grab a membership, you’re billed right away, but your cycle doesn’t kick off until you book your first class with it. Pro tip: lock in the membership (and the price) you want now, then start booking when you’re ready for your cycle to begin.
Do class credits expire?
Yes, all class credits have an expiration date.
- 1, 3, 5, and 10 packs expire 30 days from purchase.
- 15 and 20 packs expire 90 days from purchase.
We want you to get the most out of your credits, so be sure to book ahead and use them up before they expire.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes! If you’re still in your first 3 months, there’s a $100 cancellation fee. After that, you can cancel anytime- just shoot us an email at info@practiceroomnyc.com at least 14 days before your next billing date. If you forget and email us too close to your billing date, your membership will officially end after your next payment.
Can I put my membership on pause?
Totally. You can put your membership on hold for 14–60 days if needed. Just email info@practiceroomnyc.com with the dates you want your hold to start and end. During the hold, you won’t be charged and you won’t be able to book classes, though you can always buy a single class if you’re missing us 🙂
frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring anything to class?
All mats, towels and equipment are provided for all reservations. All classes are heated so water is essential. Either bring a water bottle to refill here or purchase one at check-in.
What is the Late Cancellation Policy?
NoHo: 12 hours before class starts, you can cancel your reservation with no penalty. If you booked with a class credit, you will forfeit your credit within 12 hours before class. If you booked with a membership, a late cancel penalty will be applied for $20 and no-show will be applied for $30.
Bridgehampton: reservations must be cancelled 24 hours before class time to receive your credit back.
Please note: these penalties are automatically applied. To avoid these charges, please be mindful of your account management and upcoming reservations.
Does the studio have showers?
Yes, our Noho, Manhattan studio has showers and shower essentials are available for anyone to use after class (including your towel).
Our studio at The Barn does not have showers.
How does the waitlist work?
Spots on our waitlist move FAST. At 5 minutes before class starts, we begin admitting waitlist members that are present in the studio.
If you reserved a spot in class, make sure you arrive 5 minutes before class starts to secure your spot. If you are on the waitlist, you are welcome to come into the studio to try and get in to class.
If I buy a membership now, when does the billing cycle start?
When you purchase any of our memberships, you are billed immediately but the billing cycle doesn’t start until you book a class with that membership for the first time.
It’s always best to lock into the membership (and the pricing) that you want now and wait to book with it until you want the cycle to start.
Which class is hardest?
Unfortunately, it’s not that simple.
Our pilates classes are all on the mat, with slower, focused and controlled movement. Our sculpt classes tend to be a bit faster-paced, as circuit style strength training and elevating your heart rate. You might find similar moves in both, but the speed and intensity are up for sculpt classes. You might still find that you are more sore after a pilates class because of the slow burn and focus on mind-body connection.
Do you offer small group or private classes?
Absolutely. Email our admin team info@practiceroomnyc.com with your target date/ time, headcount and any other special requests.
